How do I get in touch with Royal Standard Landscaping?

Peter Saros is directly available by phone Monday through Friday, from 9:00-5:00 pm at (416) 559-6370. He can also be reached electronically any hour of the day at [email protected]. All messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Does Royal Standard Landscaping remove the garden waste from my property?

No. Not yet. As of now, Royal Standard Landscaping will take advantage of the municipal curbside recycling program. A plan is in place to collect and compost all garden waste recovered from our client’s property, but until it is realized we will leave brown paper bags curbside.

Experience tells us this may be a less-preferred option for some clients. Our temporary solution is to offer to leave the bags in an inconspicuous part of their property and bring them curbside every other week on their scheduled pick-up day.

What if I want to request extra or off-schedule visits? Is there a cost associated with doing this?

You are always welcome to inform us of particular requests or requirements: there is no cost associated with requesting off-schedule visits in preparation for special events. Royal Standard Landscaping asks only that, when possible, you provide one week’s notice. We will respond to your request given shorter notice but please be aware that a change in your property’s service schedule necessarily involves a change in other clients’ service schedule(s). We are better able to manage expectations with adequate lead time.

 What happens to my property’s service schedule when it rains or other weather events make the day unworkable?

Royal Standard Landscaping is primarily concerned with maintaining the integrity of your premises and the health of your gardens. If the weather compromises our ability to properly service your property, or we are more likely to leave behind a mess of grass stains and mud, Royal Standard Landscaping postpones the work until the weather clears. This may be just later in the same day of your regularly scheduled visit or the following day. Please recognize that entire days lost to weather events could result in fewer hours being spent at each property the remainder of the week.

Clients whose regularly scheduled visit will be interrupted due to inclement weather will be notified of the disruption by e-mail.

Does Royal Standard Landscaping work on the weekend?

Yes, but only occasionally and not with any power equipment. You no doubt value your weekends and we do no want to diminish that experience for you and your neighbors.

We recognize the extreme volume and intrusive nature of much of the power equipment used in caring for your property. Weekend work, if and when required, will be reserved for quiet, manual labor.

In addition, Royal Standard Landscaping will request your permission to allow us to tend to your property on the weekend.

Does Royal Standard Landscaping handle issues related to irrigation, landscape lighting, tree service, etc?

No, but we are willing to put you in touch with a trusted network of service providers appropriate to your specific needs.

Royal Standard Landscaping does ask that clients with existing contracts for the services described above provide appropriate contact information so that any problems encountered on the property during our weekly visit can be addressed as soon as possible.
